Silversmithing Beginning and Advanced

Silversmith 1 Description

Students will learn basic silversmith skills, including making a ring, pendant and a bracelet. Student will learn how to use the buffer, torches as well as silversmith tools.

Prerequisites

Must have a finished cabochons and all raw silver materials. Tools, equipment and blank slabs are provided by the Club.

Estimated Cost of Supplies

The cost will be determine by market price of silver. Our club members have used two companies for supplies of Rio Grande and or FDJTool and both of the links are below.

Silver 2 Advanced Description

Student will learn advanced silversmith skills by learning how to embellish and design their own pieces.
